If you be familiar with what you’re doing with a blog, then chances are you can monetize it and make a good buck doing it. The problem for most people is that they write up a decent post, but they don’t know where to go from there, and then they think it’s just not working. The next thing to consider when creating a blog is to adjust your blog template so that your main keywords, like “make money online now”, are included in your title, report, and headers. When you do a search and arrive at a new site, you will see a blue title bar at the top of the page, as well as a site account and big headings.

In your template, you can modify the words in the “title”, “description”, and “h1″ or “h2″ tags to be whatever keywords you want to attract traffic with. These keywords will be the prominent words in your site’s listings in the search engines, so use a good keyword research tool, and choose wisely!

You may decide to choose 10 or 11 good keywords for your blog, and put the most important ones, like “make money online now” in your domain, title, description, and headers, and then use the other keywords you are targeting within your blog posts. I like to focus on only one keyword per post and sprinkle it throughout the post. Overdoing it can backfire on you and appear more like a spam post that you may get castigate for, so use the general rule of no more than one keyword per paragraph, and you should be okay.

Something the search engines really like is when you place links within your blog posts using your chosen keywords and linking back to your main site, or internal pages of your site. If I exercise the keywords “make money online now” as a link in my blog post, I would be better off to point that link to another blog post I made earlier on making money online, for example.

You may already know that the search engines read your site from top to bottom and left to right. This means that if you have a left column for your site, it will read from the top of that left column to the bottom of so as to left column before in fact reading your blog post. This is quite significant to know because this means that the more blog post links you have in that left column pointing to your previous posts, the more easily the search train spiders will pick up and index those keywords. Make sure you set up your blog template to include your blog’s previous and archived posts on the left.

Don’t forget to make usual daily posts, and ping your blog after each post you make. This will notify the search engines that your blog has new content to spider. Blogs: Uses and Misuses

Blogs, online versions of personal journal, have been a craze for quite sometime now. Some of us, before the Internet age, used to maintain a small diary to jot down random thoughts, reflections, sayings, poems, and other such stuff. Their online versions, however, are much more than that.

The biggest difference between a blog and a personal diary is that while the latter was a very private affair, easy to get to not even to family members, a blog is a public account. In fact the whole world, yes the whole world connected to the internet gets to read its contents if they come across it.

This is what gives blogs a whole measurement, making it a platform that can be used for multiple purposes. Here is a small list of their many uses:

(1). online communities: a network built around a blog

(2). publishing medium: freedom of expression for social and political views

(3). Spamming: creating fake blogs to get top ranks with search engines

(4). A personal diary

(5). Official company blog: recreational use

(6). Sales and marketing: company products, latest news etc.

It is surprising why anyone would like to show their private life and thoughts in full civic view for the whole world to see. This appears to have been the whole motive behind the first blogs, to put on display ones daily life right down to the minutest details for the whole world to see: eccentricity coupled with exhibitionism.

What bloggers be supposed to keep in mind while blogging is that by displaying our thoughts, emotions, opinions and personal life in full public glory, we are enlightening a part of our confidential life. We are giving outsiders, strangers, friends, colleges, and relatives a full view of what’s happening inside us and with our lives, something we would be irresolute to do in real life. Once blogging begins, it’s hard to control, and we end up sharing our personal thoughts and emotions that we would otherwise have kept to ourselves. The blog entices us, and we fall to the bait.

Blogs don’t conserve our secrecy. They let us put out our pictures, professional and personal details, physical addresses and locations, etc. The biggest security measure to be observed therefore is to think twice before issue anything, and ask one if one would like to make such matters public. The blog readers try to judge us, understand us, obtain information about us, and take pleasure while peeking into our private lives without our comprehend it.

With status has come the downside of blogs. Comments spamming to gain top rankings with search engines, formation of fake blogs to provide backlinks, using blogs to sell products, all of these have transport their fair share of discredit.

How to Generate More Blog Traffic?

blog-traffic1.jpg

Anybody can create blog rapidly and easily with all the blog creation tools obtainable today. But once your blog is created, getting traffic to the blog is another issue completely. Just because you built a blog doesn’t mean anyone will visit it. You must make traffic by promoting the blog and the more traffic you drive to the blog the more money you’ll make. Here are three methods I’ve personally used to drive traffic to my blog. They’ll work for you too.

1. Add Fresh Content on a Regular Basis

Many new bloggers make the mistake of creating a blog, making the first post and then forgetting about it. Especially at the commencement, your blog needs stable attention in terms of making new posts. Why would anyone want to visit a blog if new posts are made rarely? Its best post once per day or at least every other day for the first month.

Blogs are a favorite of search engines because there is new content added on a regular basis but if you make recurring posts neither the search engines nor blog visitors will return with any regularity. On the other hand, the more often you make informative posts and inject some of your own personality the more posts will be indexed by the look for engines and the more likely visitors are to make repeat visits to your blog.

2. Find Related Blogs and Make practical Comments

Another effective method for driving traffic to a blog is to find related blogs and make helpful comments. bearing in mind the number of blogs on the Internet these days, you shouldn’t have much trouble finding blogs on topics related to yours. The higher the PR of the blog the better since you’ll be getting a link in exchange for leaving a comment.

Take some time in the direction of read several posts on the blog to get a feel for it. Then make a constructive comment to one of the posts. Don’t just observation with some rubbish, contribute to the conversation. If your comment adds value, people will be more likely to want to visit your blog. Leave your name and a link to your blog to permit readers and easy way to click over to your blog.

3. Actually Simple Syndication

RSS is in fact simple syndication and most blogs come with it these days. I use Weber’s auto responder service which comes with the capability to send an email notification to a list every time you make a new blog job. This is helpful because not every reader who reads your blog will remember to come back frequently. A friendly email reminder increases repeat visits to your blog which is more traffic.

It’s very similar to creating a regular opt-in list but now instead of having to write an email sequence, all you have to do is post new entries to your blog and the RSS feed will routinely notify your list that they can read a new post on your blog. Repeat visitors are a great source of blog traffic.
